From Prajavani News paper dated 26th Aug 2011 : Karnataka Administrative Service - KAS Prelims Exam pattern to be on lines of IAS Exam conducted by UPSC.
Examination Process at 3 stages as before:
*** Preliminary Exam ---> having 2 papers
Paper1 General studies
Paper2 Mostly as CSAT paper2***Mains Exam ---> As per the old pattern
2 optional Subjects
General studies paper Compulsory English and Compulsory Kannada
***Personality Test
It May be published officially in website of KPSC in two months but the pattern change is confirmed.
