Qualities of Civil Services aspirants... i. e KAS IAS ....
A candidate aspiring to become an administrator or the prestigious post of Civil Servant, must concentrate on shaping up his/her personality in parallel with the process of preparing for the exam.
Servant of the Society, upholder of law and order among the Civilians etc are the basic definitions for Civil Servants. So how do V fit exactly into this definition. minor tips are here :
8.Stop utilising all the 100 free sms daily by sending Rajnikanth sardar jokes etc etc messages... use the service reasonably... Even if you forward 100 msgs Daily also, KPSC or UPSC will not come to know about this hobby and you still can get good Rank by studying... but it looks silly, fits mostly the less responsible people i believe...
Also being on Facebook, twitter,orkut 24 X 7 does not always show that you are very social friendly and technologically advanced... i mean don't waste your time unnecessarily by sending min by min updates (if its not for a good cause)
10.Am not saying one should be always serious not smiling, not talk to anyone...We should enjoy life but not at the cost of ignorant and silly activities...
Post of an Administrator should not be held for Just family prestige or for salary, power etc... it means a lot more than that...
Above all Be Optimistic and Maintain Positive Attitude, My Partner says Competency can any time be improved if the person has positive attitude...

1.Be a good listener; Listen to others or give importance to others ideas and opinion.
2.Appreciate others; Appreciating others even if it is a small good work, it only means you are broad minded.
3.Help Others ----> Helping doesn't mean only after the job...in every day activity
Eg: I asked more than a 100 people for Question paper of KAS 2012 prelims. But only 2 bothered to reply to my mail.Never mind i understand time is precious... but u know... just for an example... :)
4.Develop Anger management skills
5.Remove jealousy if you have it
6.Be honest.
7.Make a difference in society even without the Job power of IAS/ KAS i.e be social conscious...
Look at the subject list the Selection board prescribed for this Exam--->
Geography, History, Environment, Polity, Economy... i mean these Cover all the aspects of everyday life of Citizen... You got to work among the people...
