About the Exam

The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC), established in 1951 under the provisions of the Constitution, recruits candidates to the various civil services across the state. The selection is done on the basis of marks scored by candidates in the commission’s examination ( preliminary and main) and personality test. @Jaikumar

Whatever i say about the subjects will confuse you more. Because each one is different in their approach, level of knowledge, abitlity to Grasp, hence i will just say that Go through the syllabus of each subject and see how much you can understand and intrested in the subject , then the availability of material. Pls dnt listen to anybody else expect your mind heart while choosing optional subject,If you want to achieve success on your own terms,Since Civil Services is not for a day... sometimes may go on for years...
