I am Quite disappointed with the KPSC's Commitments to conduct the exams within a stipulated time period. Not only me but many of the serious candidates who infact are dedicated for Civil services alone I guess...
The last time the KPSC called for exams was in 2011 November but the Prelims scheduled in Feb 2012 was conducted in April and then Mains Dragged on for long period finally Done between Dec 2012 and Jan 2013 and Now the interview postponed indefinitely... Every step taken by KPSC was Questioned by some or the other Individual or organisation in the Courts... What a tragedy that Recruitment to the Administrators Posts are met with so many complexities... What does this show ??? Govt or the Recruitment body not addressing the issues or not Taking any steps in Creating Proper guidelines of recruitment.
Is it so much difficult to frame rules , I am sure Thats why have it as an independent body, and It can very well work on removing the loopholes in the Process... I feel KPSC is too old fashioned and slow progress making for some one who is Fast and growing according to the world...
Or is it that Karnataka state has already made tremendous progress and there is no need to hurry up in recruiting administrators at all...

Anyways KPSC... KAS Exams are full of uncertainty and what should one do till they call for next prelims...
In a situation where am not seeing any clues that Prelims will be conducted before August or september this year... But You never know... anything can happen.
Even if KPSC members work day and night and call for Prelims next month itself, Exams will be certainly be mostly be with a gap of 3 months... But looking at the slight complexity introduced in Prelims i.e Negative marking from this year, we cant take any chances and 4 months from today also is not sufficient for an average student like me... So currently am regretting for the days i wasted by not reading... Now i am realising that i actually lost control over my studies and the rate at which I read has reduced a lot. So I am hoping to recover fast... :(
Guys If you have wasted time like me... Wake up before its too late ,the board might come up any time with the Date of exams...
One should not completely keep away from books for a long time... It becomes little tough to get that seriousness... Hope You will not do the same mistake...

Ya true. Same thing happened to me. From past few days cld not able to study well. Dont know when kpsc wil issue notification ,desperately waiting for it. Thanks ashwini your words help to concentrate on studies.
Hi Ashwini,from your post i gather that candidates are still waiting for 2013 prelims notification to be out.. I was confused as few sites out there have mentioned that 2013 prelims was over in feb 2013.. please help and correct me..

Notification for 2013 has not yet come. The Interviews of Last batch itself pending. You can expect the notification any time after the interviews are over. Hope u r clear now.

I am eager to know what would happen to those who were caught on the video of sting operation by Tv9 ... Will they be arrested ??? or left because its not a sufficient info to book them under IPC???
Also Tv9 should have contacted CM or official in Govt currently and asked them What action will they take on this evidence...And kept pressure on Govt to handle it immediate and proper care...
I second your opinion. . . B K Chandrashekar has written a letter to honourable C.M. I was wondering how the media was blind and never made an attempt! Finally, tv9 has taken the initiation. Better late than never! Major operation has to be done for KPSC!! Hoping for the best. . .

somebody told me that all recruitment by kpsc may be postponed indefinitely as there is an investigation going on. therefore there will be no notification till the investigation gets over which may take one or two years is this true???
Yes Investigation is going on...so There will be some delay in new notification to be out,Investigation report was asked to be submitted within month i guess... Anyways Don't worry it will not take year or so... Don't offer yourself for rumours... It won't help us in any way... Concentrate on studies...
regarding new notification there are many rumours.some are saying that notification is only after investigation which may take 2 months.others saying that article 371 j clarification will be submitted to govt on july 11 it will come in july end or aug first week.
whatever may be there is a strong rumour that this time both mains and interview pattern are going to change
