@ashwini and other viewers:
You wrote Kolar,Chikballapur,Tumkur,Bangalore Rural and Ramanagaram Districts will get benefit from it. Here water have to pass through "Hassan" and "Mandya" districts which are already getting the benefits of water & irrigation facility.

what about KRISHNA river in place of Yettinahole??

Already Raichur, Bellary, Chitradurga are suffering from shortage of water. With that Tungabhadra join Krishna making Krishna river as one of the largest river in India..

* This Krishna River make "major havoc" during Rainy season creating flood in it's basin.
* Just simply turning the flood into lakes and other open tunnels etc..
* its very very far better than constructing of water reservoirs, dams and pumping of water , Flowing of water by Gravitational force in un-necessary areas like hassan & mandya districts which do not really in need of it.
* The areas in Raichur, Bellary, Chitradurga contains less 'FOREST' when compared to 'western ghat'
* Local people of Davanagere,Raichur, Bellary, Chitradurga areas will get job till the project is done since those areas lacks in providing relevant jobs.
