I am Quite disappointed with the KPSC's Commitments to conduct the exams within a stipulated time period. Not only me but many of the serious candidates who infact are dedicated for Civil services alone I guess...
The last time the KPSC called for exams was in 2011 November but the Prelims scheduled in Feb 2012 was conducted in April and then Mains Dragged on for long period finally Done between Dec 2012 and Jan 2013 and Now the interview postponed indefinitely... Every step taken by KPSC was Questioned by some or the other Individual or organisation in the Courts... What a tragedy that Recruitment to the Administrators Posts are met with so many complexities... What does this show ??? Govt or the Recruitment body not addressing the issues or not Taking any steps in Creating Proper guidelines of recruitment.
Is it so much difficult to frame rules , I am sure Thats why have it as an independent body, and It can very well work on removing the loopholes in the Process... I feel KPSC is too old fashioned and slow progress making for some one who is Fast and growing according to the world...
Or is it that Karnataka state has already made tremendous progress and there is no need to hurry up in recruiting administrators at all...

Anyways KPSC... KAS Exams are full of uncertainty and what should one do till they call for next prelims...
In a situation where am not seeing any clues that Prelims will be conducted before August or september this year... But You never know... anything can happen.
Even if KPSC members work day and night and call for Prelims next month itself, Exams will be certainly be mostly be with a gap of 3 months... But looking at the slight complexity introduced in Prelims i.e Negative marking from this year, we cant take any chances and 4 months from today also is not sufficient for an average student like me... So currently am regretting for the days i wasted by not reading... Now i am realising that i actually lost control over my studies and the rate at which I read has reduced a lot. So I am hoping to recover fast... :(
Guys If you have wasted time like me... Wake up before its too late ,the board might come up any time with the Date of exams...
One should not completely keep away from books for a long time... It becomes little tough to get that seriousness... Hope You will not do the same mistake...
